If you are looking for a particular sound
in gigabytes of recordings, the AGUASONIC®
process is available to help you with the analysis
of your field data. All that is needed is a
recording of the sound you are interested in.
With an example of what you are looking for
[16-bit samples, with a sample rate at least
5 (five) times the highest frequency present
and uncompressed] a filter is designed for
processing raw data.
The results of using the filter are a CSV file of
offsets suitable for importing to a spreadsheet,
and excerpts from the original soundtrack of every
section matching the sound you are interested in,
written to a CD-ROM or DVD data disc as appropriate.
